Mobile Hotspot Policy/User Agreement

Mobile hotspots are available for adults with a valid Ocean State Libraries card in good standing (no fees over $5) and a valid photo ID.

Patrons must sign a user agreement and make a $20.00 cash deposit at the library when checking out the Hotspot. The deposit will be refunded to the borrower when the Hotspot is returned in working condition. Any late fines incurred during this time will be deducted from the deposit.

They cannot be returned in the book drop. (If they are found inside the book drop, the user will be charged a $25 fine.)

All components of the Hotspot must be present upon return for the library to consider the item checked in.
