Appointments & Pickup

    Library staff will be available for phone assistance & contactless pickup during the following hours:

    Monday 9:30-4:45
    Tuesday 9:30-7:45
    Wednesday 9:30-4:45
    Thursday 9:30-745
    Friday 9:30-4:45

    Please call 401-333-2422, ext. 17 or 22 to reserve a 1 hour time slot to use a computer.

    We also have limited browsing AND hold pickups at the front desk available for a limited number of people, with no appointment needed, during the following hours:

    Monday 10:00-4:00
    Tuesday 1:00-7:00
    Wednesday 10:00-4:00
    Thursday 1:00-7:00
    Friday 10:00-4:00

    Please remember: You must have your library card with you for both of these services.

    You can request up to 10 items from other libraries. When you receive email or phone notification that your items are available, you MUST phone the library 333-2422 x10 so we can check out the item(s) to you and place in the lobby during our open hours.

    Keep in mind that wait times for hold requests are longer. (Delivery among the libraries is 3 days each week compared to the 5 days per week prior to the shut-down. )Thank you for your patience.

    We continue to offer contactless pickup of pre-ordered items from this library's available items. You can request items online using this form: https://www.lincolnlibrary.com/curbside-pickup

    Those who do not have Internet access, may call in their request of no more than 5 items.

    All library materials may be returned to the library in our outside book drop, only. (Please do not leave returned items in the lobby.)

    Please wear your mask and practice social distancing for lobby pickup: If you see someone else in the foyer picking up items, please wait until they exit before you enter.

    Don't have a library card? You can apply online to get a card at Ocean State Libraries. Cards are processed during library staff's working hours and then mailed to your home with further instruction. Due to mail delivery times, the waiting period for a new card could take up to a week.
